【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthermoplasticpolyestermaterialssuitableformoldingorextrusion.1.2Thisspecificationallowsfortheuseofrecycledthermoplasticpolyestermaterialsprovidedthattherequirementsasstatedinthisspecificationaremet.Theproportionsofrecycledmaterialused,aswellasthenatureandamountofanycontaminant,however,cannotbecoveredpracticallyinthisspecification.1.3Thepropertiesincludedinthisspecificationarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.ThesemaybespecifiedbyusingthesuffixesasgiveninSection5.1.4Thisclassificationsystemandsubsequentlinecallout(specification)areintendedtoprovideameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeused,thecostsinvolved,andtheinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisspecification.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thefollowinghazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section11,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThisspecificationissimilartoISO7792-1:1995andISO7792-2:1988,althoughthetechnicalcontentissignificantlydifferent.
