【摘要】:ThetreatmentofthesampleasspecifiedhereinisintendedforthepurposeofdeterminingtheresidualmoisturepresentinananalysissampleofRDF.Theresidualmoisturevalueisusedtoconvertas-determinedanalysessuchasgrossheatingvalue,sulfur,andashtoadrysamplebasis.DESIG:E79008^TITLE:StandardTestMethodforResidualMoistureinaRefuse-DerivedFuelAnalysisSample^SIGNUSE:ThetreatmentofthesampleasspecifiedhereinisintendedforthepurposeofdeterminingtheresidualmoisturepresentinananalysissampleofRDF.Theresidualmoisturevalueisusedtoconvertas-determinedanalysessuchasgrossheatingvalue,sulfur,andashtoadrysamplebasis.^SCOPE:1.1ThistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftheresidualmoistureinananalysissampleofRDF.Itisusedtocalculatetothedrybasisotherdeterminationsperformedontheanalysissample.Itisusedwiththeair-drymoistureresultstocalculatetotalmoisture(Note1).Thetotalmoistureisusedtocalculateas-receivedvaluesorotheranalysesperformedonthesample.Note18212;InsomeinstancesRDFmoisturemaychangeduringthesize-reductionstepsoftheanalysissamplepreparationprocedure.Thismoisturechange,unlesssuitablecorrectionsaremade,willaffecttheaccuracyofthetotalmoisturevalueascalculatedfromtheair-dryandresidualmoistureresults.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.FormorespecificprecautionaryinformationseeSection7.
